we're here

albeit not without it's hiccups. Orginally scheduled to meet in NY, Amanda and I finally found each other in London. After 23 plus hours of traveling we arrived to find that none of our checked bags had arrived...we're told that they will be here this evening.

After spending a night in less than ideal accomodations, we have moved into a safe and comfortable spot. All in all, feeling happily dazed and excited by all the new sites, sounds and smells (definitely new smells). Hope to have pictures and more updates soon.

By the way, the temperature is relatively manageable (thanks to mick for the hankies tip); however, the fro's gotta go.
